24-Hour Play Festival!
TheatreReset is producing a 24-Hour Play Festival, combining the passion, creativity, and awesomeness of Actors’ Theatre of Columbus, Available Light Theatre, Mine 4 God Productions, OG Productions, ReAct Theatre, and, of course, TheatreReset, into one incredible production.

Tickets will go on sale in October 2026, and profits will be split between all six theatre companies!
Wanna know more about how the 24-Hour Play Festival process works?
Each theatre company is assembling a team ahead of time consisting of at least one writer, at least one director, and at least three actors, but other than that, has no idea what the play will consist of.
On Friday night, all teams will receive the shared prompts that their short play must include. The teams will each receive the same prop, same sound effect, and the same two lines of dialogue, all of which must be included in the short play that their team creates and performs.
Each of the theatre companies will be allowed to submit suggestions for these shared requirements ahead of time, but will not know which will be randomly selected until Friday night at 8 PM. The writers for each team will then get to work creating a 10-15 minute short play, that they will then send to their team’s directors and actors.
Those directors and actors are then responsible for memorizing, blocking, and getting that short play ready to perform by 8 PM Saturday night, where all six teams will perform their shows back-to-back at the Van Fleet Theater!
